Guru Shishya Kaushal Samman Yojana (GSKSY) is a flagship skill development initiative of the Government of Haryana, implemented through Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU), aimed at recognizing traditional skills and strengthening apprenticeship-based training in the informal sector.
The scheme revives the Guru-Shishya Parampara by formally recognizing experienced craftsmen and artisans as Trade Gurus and aligning youth as apprentices (Shishyas) for hands-on skill training.

GSKSY की TOT ट्रेनिंग के बाद मैंने अपनी खुद की बुटीक खोली है। अब मैं 4 और महिलाओं को शिष्या बना कर ट्रेन कर रही हूं।
पारंपरिक मिट्टी के बर्तन बनाने की कला अब आधुनिक बाजार तक पहुंच रही है। RPL सर्टिफिकेशन से मेरी कला को पहचान मिली।
शिष्य मॉड्यूल के तथा व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण ली और आज मैं अपने गांव का पहला आधुनिक सैलून चला रही हूं। आमदनी दोगुनी हो गई है।
लकड़ी की नक्काशी का काम मेरे दादा जी करते थे। SVSU & GSKSY के इस प्रोग्राम ने इस पारंपरिक कौशल को बिजनेस मॉडल में बदल दिया है।
मोबाइल और एसी रिपेयरिंग का व्यावहारिक अनुभव मिला। अप्रेंटिसशिप पूरी होते ही मुझे एक स्थानीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स हब में नौकरी मिल गई।
आधुनिक जैविक खेती और ड्रिप सिंचाई के तरीके सीखें। अब मैं आस-पास के किसानों के लिए एक मास्टर ट्रेनर बन गया हूँ।
GSKSY प्रशिक्षण ने मेरे हुनर को नई पहचान दी। आज मैं अपने कौशल को आगे बढ़ाने के साथ अन्य महिलाओं को भी प्रशिक्षण देकर उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर बनने के लिए प्रेरित कर रही हूँ।
