Reviving the Guru-Shishya Tradition

Reviving India's age-old Guru-Shishya tradition, in which experienced artisans (Gurus) pass on their hands-on craftsmanship to young learners (Shishyas).

Preserving Traditional Arts & Crafts

Recognizing and safeguarding the traditional skills of carpenters, potters, craftsmen, and other artisans working in the informal sector, ensuring these skills do not disappear.

Employment & Self-Reliance

Providing direct, hands-on training to less-educated or untrained youth of the state, enabling them to secure employment or start their own enterprise.

Certification & Recognition

Assessing the skills of artisans who have worked for years without a formal degree, and awarding them government certification under RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) to enhance their standing in society.

Strengthening Trainers' Capabilities

Empowering skilled artisans to become better educators (Trade Gurus) through the ToT (Train the Trainer) program, enabling them to train youth using modern teaching methods.
