EN GSKSY is a flagship skill development initiative of the Government of Haryana, implemented through Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU). It revives the traditional Guru-Shishya Parampara by formally recognizing experienced craftsmen and artisans as Trade Gurus and pairing them with youth apprentices (Shishyas) for hands-on skill training.

EN Experienced craftsmen and artisans with proven traditional skills in trades such as Apparel, Beauty & Wellness, Handicraft & Carpet, and other sectors can register as a Guru through the Registration link on the portal, subject to verification and RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) certification.

HI परिधान, ब्यूटी एंड वेलनेस, हस्तशिल्प एवं कालीन तथा अन्य क्षेत्रों में सिद्ध पारंपरिक कौशल रखने वाले अनुभवी कारीगर और शिल्पकार पोर्टल पर दिए गए रजिस्ट्रेशन लिंक के माध्यम से गुरु के रूप में पंजीकरण कर सकते हैं, जो वेरिफिकेशन और RPL (पूर्व शिक्षा की मान्यता) प्रमाणन के अधीन होगा।

EN Youth interested in learning a traditional trade under an experienced Guru can register as a Shishya. Shishyas are mobilized and enrolled into batches for hands-on skill training in the trade of their choice.

EN RPL is the process of formally recognizing and certifying the existing skills of experienced craftsmen and artisans who have learned their trade informally, without requiring them to undergo full-length formal training.

EN TOT is a capacity-building program for master craftsmen, preparing them to become certified trainers (Gurus) who can effectively mentor and train Shishyas under the scheme.

EN GSKSY offers three major benefits — Skill Training, where youth are trained in traditional trades and crafts by qualified Gurus; Certification, where the existing experience of skilled workers is formally recognized under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL); and Employment Generation, where this training helps bridge the gap between industry demand and youth capability.
